I was thinking of heading over to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, but I saw all the clouds rolling in by late afternoon, and decided to stay and attempt the Horseshoe Bend. On my previous attempt, it was clear, blue skies, and the sun was setting way off to the side. I’m hopping for better luck today. After the crowds of people left just before the sunset, I found a stop along the cliff edge, and waited for the clouds. I have to say, not too bad. The sun setting almost in front of me, and there were some clouds in the sky!
