Cloud Cap over Grand Teton

    Newer Older

Most people left this location right after the sunrise. I don’t know what their hurry was, but I’m okay with being left along and take in the scenery in absolute peace.

I stayed here till well after the sunrise, and although the image is not as dramatic with a red tipped mountain, I still love it. The clouds were rolling in but the lake surface is still calm. Too bad the controlled burn is creating a lot of haze. I only reluctantly pulled myself out after the wind has picked up.
