Governor Chris Christie, the Commander-in-Chief of the New Jersey National Guard; Maj. Gen. Glenn K. Rieth, the Adjutant General of New Jersey, along with state and federal representatives and the leadership of the New Jersey National Guard reviewed the troops at the 30th Anniversary of the Governor’s Military Review, which was held on the parade field at National Guard Training Center in Sea Girt on Oct. 2, 2011. Citizen Soldiers and Airmen representing every major command of both the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard were present. The event began with a parachute demonstration by the New Jersey Army National Guard Parachute Team followed by a flyovers by UH-60 Blackhawks of the 1-150th Assault Helicopter Battalion and F-16 Fighting Falcons of the 177th Fighter Wing.
