Jack of all trades?

The flower of Selfheal (Prunella vulgaris) growing in a meadow at Consall country Park in Staffordshire. This plant gets its name from its use in the treatment of cuts, inflamations and boils. They are apparently useful in salads, the leaves having a mildly bitter taste.
