    The North East Frontier railway line ends here after about a 2000 kms run. To ithe right is the Ledo Road looking just as rough as it was during WW II but with none of the stately forests that crowded it 66 years ago.

      That rail extending into the grass below the barrier marks the easternmost end (or start) of the Indian Railway network :)
