Man & Wife Tongue Slices

Lovely, tender slices of beef tongue, cooked in a lovely, sweet broth, served cold with a dressing of stock, soy sauce, chili oil, coriander, sesameseeds and cashews.

After the tongue not being tender enough at my second attempt, I cooked it for 12 hours on high and 12 hours on low in my slow cooker (crockpot). Got a little bit too tender, hihi. It was so soft, you could easily make a paste with it. But hey, the taste was still brilliant and I prefer it too soft over not soft enough. Next time I will try 12 hours on high.
