Chocolate Fondant

Quick & easy recipe for Chocolate Fondant from James Martin.

I made some alterations: in the pastry I used palmsugar instead of caster sugar. And in the chocolate sauce I even used gulu djawa. And not water but cream.

They turned out quite okay for a first attempt. I only made them because I was bored, I'm not really a big fan of chocolate fondant. You make me happier with a good bar of chocolate or box of chocolates.


And I cheated, I added 2 pieces of chocolate in the center of the ramequins. I thought that was brilliant.
