Caramelized parsnips, fillet of pork and ovenroasted potatoes
This is Nigella Lawson's recipe for caramelized parsnips. Toss 600 grams of parsnips with some oil, transfer to a hot baking tray, drizzle with 50ml maple syrup. Put in 200C oven for about 35 minutes. Shake and toss two or three times to get them coated with the syrup.
Nice with ovenbaked potatoes (40 minutes in the same oven) and a simple fillet of pork, marinated in some readymade teriyaki with a crushed garlic.
