    Slowcooked pears.

1,5 kg special "onripe" pears (Gieser Wildeman)
    2 dl red wine
    1 dl port
    4 slices of ginger
1 big crushed stem of lemongrass
    150 gr of (chinese) sugar
    4 staranise
    2 cinamonsticks

Put everthing in your slowcooker, add water to cover and some baking paper to cover. Put 2 hours on high, then 6 hours on low.

When ready to eat (preferably the next day or later) first heat up the liquid and reduce on high heat until it's a syrop.
Then add the pears to warm through.

Thank you, but I'm not sure the ingredients were GMO free. Probably, but I'm not against gen-technology.
