Climbing to Unterwiesenthal - 3

Fichtelbergbahn 99 1741-0 charges up the grade between Hammerunterwiesenthal and Unterwiesenthal, alongside the border with the Czech Republic, with an early afternoon Cranzahl to Oberwiesenthal service on 2nd December 2017. The stock still retains snow on the roofs following the heavy overnight snowfall.Built in 1929 in Chemnitz, this is the oldest locomotive in service on the railway.
