Sardenara ready to go in the oven
I learned about this through my Italianpod101 lessons, then found the recipe online here (english/italian) from a blogger that pretty much lives down the road from me! This is more like a focaccia than a pizza. Other names (and many minor variations) in the various countries of the Riviera dei Fiori (Liguria):
* Taggia: Figassa
* Apricale: Figassun o machetusa
* Bordighera e Vallecrosia: Pisciarà
* Sanremo: Sardenaira
* Ventimiglia: Pisciadela
* Buggio: Pisciarada
* Imperia: Piscialandrea
