Pea and coconut milk gelato

An experiment...that needs to have a few kinks worked out. When it's just made the texture is smooth with a delightful hint of crunchiness from the pureed peas (it's as if you're biting into coconut flakes although the coconut is only in the milk part). After it freezes solid the magic is gone and the flavor is all wrong.

 

The green orbs on black aren't peas of course. Fava beans had to fill in because the peas were all in the mix.
