Cannelés
Well sort of. I had neither the copper or silicon forms but used aluminum molds of a similiar shape. Let me say that they turned out surprisingly well for wannabe cannelés. Instead of the beeswax coating, I used rice bran oil which resulted in a nice, crunchy, caramelized exterior.
