Varieties of mango: some are very big. Grape and cherry are here for 'scale'.
But all mangoes are very sweet and nice! I love it!
Due to a warm winter and late start of rain season, it's been a bumper year (2010) for mangoes in Queensland, Australia. Mangoes trees at the backyards were also full of mangoes.
But Australian are impractical There were a reports, that rubbish trucks refused to take a bins because they were overloaded with mangoes!!!
Meanwhile they were still expensive in supermarket. We do not have a mango tree in my yard, so I paid from 99c to $2.99 per mango.
At least possums and flying foxes were happy and fat...

невиданный урожай манго в этом году создал проблемы - машины отказывались вывозить помойные контейнеры переполненые тяжелыми манго! У многих во дворах есть манговые деревья, и непрактичные австралийцы просто не знали что с этим делать.
У меня дерева нет, так что мы покупали манго, которые, однако, не были дешевыми в магазинах.
Самый простой способ сохранения манго в прок - заморозка или засушка.
