Mean-looking Manga at Museum of Civilization for summer 2011

Several telling pieces from Japan's Edo era, traditions and innovations at the Museum of Civilization Japan Tradition Innovation Exhibition!

Here we have a manga drawing by Rumiko Takahashi which inspired the Inu Yasha television series and ran for several years between 2000 and 2010. Such great looks, creativity and action figures !

There are plenty of manga comics to see, peruse or read in one area of the exhibit, for all ages !!

Be sure to see the evolution of innovative robots at the Museum of Civilization Japan Tradition Innovation Exhibition! The Museum faces Parliament across the Ottawa River. The Exhibit opened Friday, May 20, 2011 and runs (at times with Asimo) until October 10, 2011

If you are in Ottawa or Gatineau on Thursday, June 2, 2011, be sure to hear the Canadian Museum of Civilization Curator, Alan Elder tell some some amazing stories regarding the Japan Innovation Tradition Exhibit, as he plans to give a curatorial tour on that Thursday, June 2, 2011

Subaru and Toshiba organizations also sponsored this highly collaborative Japan Exhibit of the Museum.
