Kenmure Castle drive

Now here, castle followers, when we walk down this drive, is a very interesting place, historically speaking anyway, but now in rather a sad condition.

This drive, flanked by an avenue of fine old lime trees, opens off the A762, the road that follows the west bank of Loch Ken in Kirkcudbrightshire, at a spot almost exactly a mile south of the epicenter of New Galloway (Scotland's smallest Royal Burgh).
