White-winged Crossbill - Loxia leucoptera leucoptera - Male

Photographed with a Canon 1DX / EF 800mm f/5.6l IS USM lens combination at the Algonquin Provincial Park Visitors Centre feeders.

This bird ranges right round the northern hemisphere; in Europe and Asia its called the Two-barred Crossbill. Usually they stick pretty closely to coniferous trees but occasionally they will visit feeders as this one was doing in Algonquin.
