⛄️ ~and~the~people~stayed~at~home . . ((Snow/ Wolverhampton/ 2013))
~ by Kitty O’Meara (2020)
And the people stayed home.
And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised,
and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still.
And listened more deeply.
Some meditated, some prayed, some danced.
Some met their shadows.
And the people began to think differently.
And the people healed.
And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways,
the earth began to heal.
And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses,
and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully,
as they had been healed.
Dear friends I am still with you here, as best I can. I’ve all but recovered (as have immediate family members) from Coronavirus, and just waiting for my strength to return.., both mentally and physically.
So I’ve chosen this picture (A snowy Wolverhampton, 2018) as a reflection of all that is positive and good. Looking back over the years, recollecting happy moments ~and thinking positive thoughts of future days when we can be free of fear, and reunited with our families.
My heart goes out to any of you who have suffered, either losses or ill health. May each passing day give you strength in body mind and soul.
Who knows what 2021 will bring........ ~I’m thinking it will be a bit more cheery :-). So I remain optimistic.
Take good care, all of you, and keep yourself and your family safe. There is still so much love/ goodness and kindness out there, waiting to be experienced and shared.
I hope your days in the run up to Christmas are healthy ones, and that you manage to find joy in the simplest things.
After the holidays I will hopefully return full time, and respond to any comments left, plus catching up with your wonderful posts.
Hope you’ll forgive and excuse my absence until then.
All my love,
