🌸 A Light exists in Spring!
A Light exists in Spring
Not present on the Year
At any other period --
When March is scarcely here
A Color stands abroad
On Solitary Fields
That Science cannot overtake
But Human Nature feels.
It waits upon the Lawn,
It shows the furthest Tree
Upon the furthest Slope you know
It almost speaks to you.
Then as Horizons step
Or Noons report away
Without the Formula of sound
It passes and we stay --
A quality of loss
Affecting our Content
As Trade had suddenly encroached
Upon a Sacrament.
📖 This picture was taken a few years ago, in St. James Park, London UK.
It was Springtime.... and the weather was warm, sunny and beautiful.
This was late afternoon, with the sun at its strongest and most radiant. Everywhere I walked, there would be picnickers... children playing... bird singing... flowers blooming ... the kind of day that kinda makes you feel happy to be alive.
Why I decided on this photo to post, was because for the past week or two, that’s exactly the weather we’ve experienced here: in Wolverhampton UK.
We are not yet into March, yet temps of 16, with bright sunshine ☀️ ... All (well, most) of the flowers are out !!! And come Spring, I doubt there’ll be much left of them. Nature is full of surprises :-)
Apologies to those of you who are still knee deep in snow, but I can’t help but feel happy 😀
And since collecting my new prescribed glasses, I can see what’s going on 😅😎👀 oh, the joy.
💛🌻🌱🌸 Dear friends, we are almost in the Month of March.... and I wish you all, many happy days, full of sunshine, cheer and contentment. We will hopefully continue to share the kindness........ not an easy task, especially on the days we’re feeling like . . . . ~but we’ll keep on trying 😊
My love to you all, as ever 💛xoxox
