Vic Viper Memorial Fly-In, Brickworld 2010

Many thanks to everyone who brought or mailed Vic Vipers for the first nnenn memorial formation.

Sorting out the numbers:

The vipers came and went throughout the weekend, at the time of this photo Saturday morning there there were 66. The formation topped out at 72, from 7 countries: Australia, Bermuda, Canada, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, U.K. and the USA. That doesn't unclude the residents of flavor country, who were legion.

The formation was nominated for "Best Collaberative Display" and ultimately lost out to the very deserving "Containment" www.flickr.com/groups/1407088@N25/pool/

One final thanks to Ley Ward for his skill, time and patience to help me fix the dozen Vipers who arrived with some assembly required.

I'll add the names of contributors as I sort things out. The weekend is mostly a blur and I didn't get to meet at least 20% of the on-site attendees who brought Vipers.

Joe Meno has excellent photos of just about every Viper, at a much closer range, starting at the bottom of the page.

Thanks again you magnificent bastards! The turnout exceded my expectations and it is clear that Nate will be missed around the planet.

* If you don't see a box around your viper, or if you recognized an un-boxed viper, please add a note and set me straight.

** If you didn't get your Brick-badge for the formation, flickrmail me
