Ingredients:
12 oz steak, sliced thinly
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 tbsp oil
1 yellow onion, sliced in small wedges
6-8 green onions, sliced in 1/2 inch increments
1/2 cup water

1 clove garlic
1/4 tsp fresh ginger root zest
Crushed red pepper to taste (for a spicy dish)

Add water, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper (optional) to the crock pot, stir until well mixed. Add steak to the crock pot.
Total cook time should be at least 4 hours, but you can cook longer if time permits.
1-2 hours before serving, add yellow onions to crock pot.
30 minutes before serving add green onions.
Serve over rice noodles (optional, but tasty) with white rice on the side.
