Shepherd's Pie

When I was a youngin, I used to help out at a soup kitchen where we always made shepherd's pie. It was prepared with a ground beef and tomato soup mixture, then a layer of corn (or green beans), topped off with a thick layer of potatoes. Simple, but effective.

 

This version is based on the same idea, but many ingredients were switched out to make a more savory dish.
