Tui, Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae, 30 cm. / 11.8 in. COMMON ENDEMIC honeyeater found in native forest and scrub, farmlands with kowhat, gums and flax, parks and gardens. Heavily backlit but, at the throat are white puffs of feathers called poi (not the sky showing)
