The Packard Factory - Detroit, Michigan

According to, at 3.5 million square feet The Packard Automotive plant in Detroit, Michigan is the largest abandoned factory in the world. Home to the Packard and Studebaker nameplates this factory once accounted for 75% of the World’s automotive production and operated between 1907 and 1959. After WWII the brands did not fare so well. Before the end of the 1950’s production was terminated and the company bankrupt.
