As part of this network, UNDP Sub-Office in Crimea offers its international partners and national and local counterparts in-depth expertise, a solid base for joint action and exclusive networking and cooperation opportunities in the region.

    UNDP Sub-Office in Crimea was officially opened by the UNDP Administrator Helen Clark in December 2010. The Sub-Office operates on Crimean peninsula as decentralized program and administrative unit of the UNDP in Ukraine.

    The Sub-Office is located in Simferopol and its stuff includes Head of Sub-Office, Programme Analyst and technical support team serving the Sub-Office as well as UNDP Ukraine-led projects in Crimea.

    The main task of the UNDP Sub-Office in Crimea is supporting joint planning with participation of national and local partners as well as ensuring quality of implementation of UNDP-led nationwide projects in the region through effective coordination and monitoring.
