127 Day, Beacon II, Efke R100
Another from 127 Day! Taken near the Ludington State Park, where the Big Sable River empties into Lake Michigan.
This is from the first roll of film I have run thru a recently acquired Beacon II. Kind of an interesting little camera. No focus, aperture, or shutter speed settings, so it is basically point and shoot. Just load the proper speed film for the lighting conditions.
It was a bright sunny day so I loaded a roll of Efke R100.
The camera is cosmetically in excellent condition and it appears to be light tight as I see no light leaks on any of the images. Just some pretty heavy vignetting in the upper corners.
Instead of the "normal" 4x4 square spacing, it shoots 4x3, which gives 16 shots per roll instead of 12.
I think I will run some color thru it next and see how that comes out.
Taken on 127 Day (1/27/2015) north of Ludington Michigan.
