Health in Hatcheries follow up

Oyster shells are logged at the team's field site along the Rappahannock River in Topping Va., on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018.

The research team consisting of Virginia Institute of Marine Science Assistant Professors Emily B. Rivest, and Jan McDowell, along with students members focuses on how the salt level in water can affect oyster larvae growth and how to improve oyster health in one of Virginia’s rapidly growing shellfish industries.
