The girl in black at the entrance of the Metro Station Baixa–Chiado in Lisbon, Portugal. She starts to use the escalator to the underground, depths: about 45 m.
The subway stations in Lisboa are real artworks, it’s a fabulous idea
to spend some time there and I want to present some of the architects
and artists of these beautiful buildings. The underground (Metro)
“Baixa Chiado” was designed by the Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza
Vieira. The architecture and décor of the Metro is an important
element for the passengers to feel good. The subways of Lisbon are
not only beautiful and artistic, they also are very well-groomed.
Lisbon is the capital city of Portugal, one of the most beautiful cities I ever saw and a metropole of great variety. It is one of the oldest cities in the world.
