0539 - Zoe 2 - January 2010 (1 - BEFORE)
1-3-09 Another update from Zoe's foster mom here in Maine..."She's definitely a cutie and has quite beautiful markings. And the beagle in her face makes you want to melt. She's interested in the cats but it seems like a healthy interest. She's still currently learning her boundaries and I'm working on her manners. Zoe will be fine with cats and other dogs, but I think she would do better in a home with either another male or a submissive female, or a female that doesn't care. I think she'll enjoy being either the only dog or having a sibling. She's a pretty happy dog, full of life with a great personality. Oh and she's got the longest tail!!! She'll make a great agility or flyball dog. She has the drive, the smarts and the agility to do it too! She's great in her kennel at night, at dinner, and in the car. She's had a couple of accidents in the house but is about 95% potty trained."
12-30-09 Zoe2 is here, and as cute as a button! She is outgoing and adorable - having a blast with her 4-legged foster brother and sister. Zoe2 is skinny and very interested in food, as she wasn't getting consistent meals in her former situation in the south. She has not had a single accident in the house, even at her young age, and is already starting to learn the routines and rules of the house - like no counter surfing ; 0 ) Zoe2 will make an awesome family pet - she loves snuggling with the humans as well as romping with the dogs!
12-20-09 This is Zoe, she is around 4 months old. Her southern rescuers told us, "we think she is a beagle catahoula mix. She is such a sweet puppy. We took her to an adoption event and she did great. She loved everyone she met including kids and other dogs". Please reference "Zoe 2" when you write to us for an application. This beautiful girl can hopefully travel north soon into foster care so you can meet her.
All our dogs are in southern partner rescues and shelters unless otherwise indicated. We can only bring as many north as we have foster homes for. Please make a resolution to think about becoming a foster for dogs in need - many of these sweeties are living in rough conditions outdoors in the south - even though it's warmer than here, it does get very cold at night - not fit for man nor beast! ; 0 )
