Rosendal's Garden is open to public visitors in order to let them experience nature and to demonstrate different cultural effects on gardening through history. In the area you also find eg a store where you can buy the vegetables cultivated in the garden (photos 8&9) and a lovely café (photo 10). In the summertime the Garden is a very popular place for weddings (photo 13).
The area today known as Rosendal's Garden was in 1817 sold to the Swedish king Karl XIV Johan (Charles XIV John of Sweden). He transformed the area into an English park.
