I'm not up to writing a blog post at the moment (full of cold!) so I'm going to link to this Flickr photo and then blog about it once I'm better - hope that's okay, Dear Leader!
My plans for this quarter:
Make the 'circles of geese' (kindly donated by Katy@thelittlestthistlecraftshop.blogspot.com) into a cushion.
Make this orphan block (my first ever attempt at foundation piecing) into something, probably a stitching/block book something like this quiltobsession.wordpress.com/2011/04/11/stitching-book/
And, just for the hell of it, I've added the blue and white quilt to the list! I don't have a chance in hell of finishing it by June but I couldn't resist! It's going to be a blue and white nine patch and snowball quilt for my parents (for their spare bed, I think). I've pieced all the 9Ps and am just over halfway there with the snowballs (although only about 16 out of 127 are trimmed and none are pressed. I'm also stitching down a second line on the blue squares to create the 'bonus' triangles because who doesn't need 508 1" finished HSTs?!). It would be nice to have a quilt top by the end of the quarter...maybe even have it layered and ready for quilting?
Wish me luck!
