'Media Legends: The Australian Media Hall of Fame' exhibition launch
The Australian Media Hall of Fame now has a physical home – display galleries in State Library Victoria.

The exhibition Media Legends was launched by Library Board of Victoria chairman John Wylie at a reception on 2 December 2015.

The galleries, including panels highlighting the work of leading war correspondents, are located in the State Library newspaper reading room.

The Media Hall of Fame, founded by the Melbourne Press Club in 2011, honours reporters, editors, broadcasters, photographers, cartoonists, illustrators and commentators. Initially focusing on Victorian journalism, the Hall is being expanded nationally in 2016.
