      ON THE VERANDA
After Auld Lang Syne was sung, they secreted onto the veranda to slow dance to a love ballad, cheek to cheek. Their torso so close that their sex organs reacted to their body heat.
"We better stop," he whispers. "My wife will be back from the ladies’ room soon."
"Darling, why are you out here?" She asks.
"I was just talking to the waiter, Jack."
"We have another party to go to."
"Yes we must go. Hope to see you later in the New Year Jack."
"It would be a pleasure," Jack says. END
