Scarf pattern by me, Larissa Brown, modeled by my lovely neighbor Erin at a neighborhood pub called Caldera (we live on the side of a volcano).

Yarn used is Koigu. I also suggest Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock lightweight or Shibui Knits Sock.

    Thank you, Mama. Y'know the whole time I was knitting this scarf, I knew Erin would be wearing it and I was so happy her hair would be all curly and red. It was a great inspiration for keeping the colors bright. (Which was needed. I had done a palette for the book and then found myself not following it and choosing all muted colors, and this scarf helped get me back on track.)
