I was a female police officer for 18 years and have dealt with children many times while on duty. I found that children in the world do not have peace and often feel abandone even when their families had money and status. If our children are the future citizens of our towns and churches, they will be strong and confident if they are little prayer warriors. There was nothing worse I had to do than tell a parent their child had died from an accident or suicide. I found myself praying for children that were in my care as a police officer facing some form of trouble. God would work out problems for them and I was able to be a wittness. Remember, just because you take your child toa Oneness church doesn't mean they are free from the clutches of sin. Sometime we parents take for granted that our Oneness child and that they are ok, when in fact they need special prayer and guidence. My mother used to say, "Don't send your children to church, but take them and see what they are being taught." I want to change that statement to say, " Don't just tell your children to pray, pray with them." Where ever they go and what they do, the power of prayer can get them through anything. God bless these children in the picture.
