Aldabra Tortoise

The Aldabra giant tortoise (Aldabrachelys gigantea), from the islands of the Aldabra Atoll in the Seychelles, is one of the largest tortoises in the world. This species of tortoise may also be referred to as Geochelone gigantea

or Dipsochelys dussumieri. This photo was taken at the Phoenix Zoo on March 12, 2011.
