I don't know. I'm just uploading older photos lately. I'm not in a funk or anything - no way - it's the holidays and there's too many things going on all at once. I spend a good amount of time with Brian, moreso on the weekends - the weeks are too busy for him. Me too for the past two weeks. I get out of work at 4, go work out for an hour, come home, eat dinner, work on my Polish language lessons for an hour or more (it's for work, but the more I learn the more I realize it's not too difficult for a Slavic language, soooo much better than learning Russian with the confusing Cyrillic alphabet...) It's also dark at 5 after I get done with running and whatnot. I want to go out and take night shots, but I just haven't had enough commitment to doing so in the evening. It also doesn't help that I've been a total loser for over a month going to bed nightly at 22:00 or earlier. I get up at 5:00 to be at work right before 7:00. The skies are still pitch black, and there's no inspiring sunrise to look forward to. This leaves me to taking photos inside that aren't entirely inspiring. I do admit I need a vacation to somewhere more photogenic than my neighborhood and/or Lake Wilhelm...which is technically my extended neighborhood. A trip to NYC has been brought up at some point or another, but I have no vacation days until late January. I'm trying to save up for a house. I estimate I will be good to move out in late August of 2007. I still don't like playing 20 questions when I come home at 2 AM. I really don't.
I did promise to take photos of the best and worst of Christmas 06, though, and I'm going to stick by that. Our next door neighbors look like they smoked a giant crack rock before putting up their lights. Oh. my. Gawd. There's another house by the beer distributor on Rte 322 headed out of Cochranton that looks like the guy finished off a few too many Yuenglings and gave the lights his all. It's hard to even give credit for a "good try." I also need to give an award for the "best Chevy Chase house." If you've seen National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, which, oh wait, if you haven't, you've either been living under a rock or you're a terrible American, you'll know what I'm talking about. If your electric bill is more than your monthly mortgage, you may need to kick it down a notch!
