Another "Wild Niight" on Distant Hill

Not a great photo, but it is definitely a Virginia opossum (Didelphis virginiana). The rat-like tail gives it away. They are not all that common in New Hampshire, due to their inability to deal with the cold. Their ears and feet are hairless, making them very susceptible to frostbite.
