Hovering Bee Fly

Bee Flies closely resemble bees but they only have two wings and Bees have four. They belong to the order Diptera. Like bumblebees, they hover near flowers and feed on nectar. They can fly faster than bumblebees. Bee flies, like bees, help pollinate plants. The fur on their bodies carries pollen grains from one flower to another. Bee flies make a buzzing noise similar to bumblebees.
