Bathed in Beauty

View more from my Washington Photo Gallery

The Columbia River Gorge separating to Pacific Northwest states is full of beautiful waterfalls. On the Washington side, this massive waterfall sits down in a forested amphitheater type setting.

This area has technically been closed off since I was here last. It's a sketchy climb down and unfortunately someone died trying. Human traffic has also reduced the moss on the surrounding rocks. Still, an amphitheater like setting with an amazing waterfall worth visiting, even if from the designated overlook.
