Lovely build. How about a bit more teasing from the novel for your next build?

Terrific build, incredibly detailed and highly realistic. So much good here on that building to point out, and great use of the chains in the border. Great work David!

This is one of the most impressive and inspirational harbors I've ever seen. Wow. The sheer scale of it all is amazing, but combined with the different levels all the buildings are set it, it's incredible.

The scale is impressive! The roof line is awesome. Is there an interior to this build?

Excellent build! The roof and the size of it all is great!

Eolfin Fairheart I can do that :)
Paul Trach I can see that. This is actually on a pier on a river and is from our heads as a place we would want to stay =)
Zachary Bean I would loved to have included an interior, but I plan on lugging these around to all of the nearby conventions this year so I build them as strong (and heavy) as I could for transport. I made the attempt to build interiors, but was stuck displaying either the inside or outside haha. Alice Finch is much better at that than me.

Thanks again for all the feedback everyone! This build was a bit nuts and somehow grew as I was building it. The great thing about building from a Fantasy novel where the people can manipulate matter is that you can cheat from an architectural standpoint. I think this is the first build that I might actually need someone to help me carry... uh.. Josh?? Jordan?? Alice??? =)

Wow. Only build 2/8 in the series, and for me I would have considered this my "magnum opus". Wonderful architecture and detailing.

The color and texture choices for the roof are outstanding. Makes it look very nice.
