Kellie Castle

Kellie's Castle is an unfinished, ruined mansion that was built by a Scottish planter named William Kellie Smith.

He came to Malaya in 1890, and from then, was involved in rubber tapping and tin mining. He went back to Scotland and married Agnes before brining her over to Malaya as well, where they first build a mansion called Kella's House, which is located behind this castle.

The castle was built a bit later with the birth of their 2nd child. The castle was planned to incorporate Scottish, Moorish and Indian architecture.
