Mygalomorph spider fang arrangement

Mygalomorphs are "primitive" spiders that roamed the surface of the Earth since ancient times. These spiders have not changed much due to slow evolution.


This photo shows the fang arrangement of "primitive" spiders, where the fangs are pointed downwards, as opposed to the ones in "modern" spiders which are pointed sideways and towards one another (see previous photo).
