Maratus harrisi, TAS variety
Individuals that were given to my by by Peter McQuillan. These were found on Mt. Wellington near Hobart. It differs from the NSW variety of Maratus harrisi by having red tracts behind the front eyes. Also the white "eye spots" are more slanted. It is very similar to the Victorian variety of Martus harrisi except for some small difference in the ornamentation being the eyes. You can read up on this variety in this paper ecite.utas.edu.au/98384
