Livingstonia Church Stained Glass Window

The Livingstonia Mission in Malawi is a Christian Mission dedicated to the memory of the Church of Scotland explorer and missionary David Livingstone. The 100 year old church has this stained glass window depicting David Livingstone meeting the locals. His work helped to stop slavery in the region and introduced Christianity, education and commerce. He is still highly thought of in Malawi.

The Mission is on a mountain in the north of the country with magnificent views over Lake Malawi. Today it consists of the church, a university, a technical college, hospital, two schools and several farms.
