5 of 52 - Film, Once Upon a Time
I shot film before with my FED 3B (Tanker).
Got in to the whole "Lomo" thing back then and when I was deciding on my first weapon, I nudged more on a rangefinder; not really a Lomo gadget but it was a bargain then ($15 including shipping from Ukraine) and it is super vintage sexy.
These where the photos from my very first roll, a 12-shot 400 ISO Kodak color. Got 8 pictures from it and these were my faves.
I was really impressed with the camera and of course with myself because armed with little idea what those knobs were for and considering that that was the first time I shot a manual rangefinder, I was ecstatic!
Then I got my first digital camera, the Canon A400, and the instant gratification from the LCD screen got me hooked and Tanker was neglected.
But I still love it, and I wish I could shoot more with it. It even still had that smell when I first got it, but now musked with dust. And once every month, when that reminder email arrives on my mail, I get Tanker out of its leather case (a bargain, right?) and cock it just for old times sake. (Press "L")
