Turon
I wasn't that excited when I heard that one of the desserts was turon (banana lumpia) because I'm not really a fan. The turon I'm used to is generally overfried, which ends up being greasy and drowns out the banana flavor.
These turon were imagined as triangles and fried perfectly and the wrapper-to-banana ratio was perfect.
