HDR Alignment Tool v2.0

    Newer Older

Fed up not being able to get your LDR images to line up in Photomatix or whatever ??.
Well I was, in fact I got so fed up I wrote this small windows app to pre-align my images.
If you've got the same problem then maybe this is for you.

Click here to download it off bitbucket.

If you are looking for the Delphi source-code files, then click here.

There is also a discussion about this program in the HDR group if you're interested...

note - the above screenshot is from version 1 of the software.

looking forward to trying this (photomatix frequently misaligns, always wanted a manual alternative)

      Thanks!

I'm a novice as regards all this but lacking a camera that takes RAW shots this sounds a promising tool for the near future, thanks!

This is so cool. That you did it, that it works, that it's so easy to use (the live preview rocks!), that you put it out there for us to use - it's all good. Thank you. I will credit you on any images I put up that I've used it on.

Where can you find lens profiles?

      Thanks all,
Im currently working on an updated version with an improved interface and better multi-image support. I should have a beta version ready some time in the new year.

      @ popoPsan
The only source of lens profiles I know of is the text version of the PTLens database file... 'PTLensDB_06-02-08.zip'
      Which can be found here...
      sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=77506&...

The next release of the alignment tool will likely have a much better system for profiling your optics than the current version, assuming I can iron all the bugs out.

wow, looks really cool, any possibility of a mac version?

    13. Eggy Boil 65 months ago | reply

Sorry Brendan, a mac version will be unlikely unless someone can port the source code over.
      :(
