Finally - a Laverne DiFazzio dolls that is cute and fun looking.

I know, I loved her charecter on that show, and i always thought that the old Mego version looked like a flesh version of the wicked witch of the west from the wizard of OZ :P

Laverne was such a fun character on the show - she deserved a better looking doll. I think they would have sold better had they looked more like this.

I know, i used to love Laverne and Shirley growing up, and thanks for the awsome compliment!

You captured her look. WOW!!! It is PERFECT - we can hear her laughing when we see this shot.

Very much improved. She actually looks like Penny Marshall.
Mego was really cruel to it's celebrity licenses.
Several years ago, I met Farrah Fawcett and asked her to autograph my Mego doll. She rolled her eyes and said, "Ugh, that ugly doll!" So she signed the package, "Farrah Fawcett + doll"

    Why, thanks so much!
  • Cyguy dolls 3y

That is such a cute Story! I guess Farrah felt the same way that we did about the poor production of the Mego dolls :)
  • Steven 3y

OMG! I love this!!! I wish I hadn't sold mine! I could have had you redo her!! She is awesome!!

Thanks! Laverne and Shirley are two of my personal favs as well.
