Blue Moon with a Slice of Orange

    Newer Older

I love orange and used nearly every scrap I had in my stash. My quilt measures 56"x56", and I used Kona white for the neutral with blue (Kona lagoon) being my "other" color choice. The title is a reference to a Belgian-style wheat ale best served in a frosty mug with an orange slice. My son and daughter-in-law introduced me to this beverage last summer on a visit to Tulsa, and it seemed to make the heat wave a little more tolerable. I love Blue Moon! So yummy. And your quilt is yummy too :) I also think you have the most creative title!

Love how the focus is one block with so much going on around it. The colors are great.
